This is excellent news for our Italian-Chinese company, which was founded in 2019 and is part of the CHANGHONG Intelligence Ltd. Group, a leading Chinese industrial reality in the local market for the design of paint shop and General assembly plants for the Automotive Industry. Thanks to the high know-how, more than twenty years in painting plants, to its patents and to the innovative technical solutions proposed during the supplier selection phase, FIDIA Automotive Engineering Systems has been awarded an important contract by Volkswagen AG. The German group, a world leader in the production of cars and commercial vehicles, has chosen FIDIA as one of its main suppliers for the upgrade of the automated painting plant for mass-produced cars at the Bratislava plant in Slovakia.

The project will be developed over a time frame of approximately three years, and FIDIA will lead engineers from Italy, China, Germany and other European countries to achieve the high quality, energy-efficient and environmentally friendly results which VW requires for its projects.
